From Daman, drive to Royal Chitwan National Park for an exciting array of jungle activities, including elephant safaris, jungle walks, canoeing trips on the Rapti River, birdwatching, and cultural programs like the Tharu village tour. For a more thrilling experience, opt for a Jeep safari (additional cost) to spot exotic wildlife, including the one-horned rhino, Royal Bengal tiger, and other fascinating animals and birds. Upon your arrival to the airport, you will be greeted by the friendly Journey Junction staff who will escort you to your accommodation in Kathmandu. The views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, beginning a whole chain of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long, long time. After settling in and exploring the streets of Thamel, we will arrange a special welcome dinner featuring local specialties to introduce you to the city and the Journey Junction Team. After an early breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu’s four major landmarks: Swoyambhunath (Monkey Temple), Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Start with Swoyambhunath, a 2,500-year-old stupa believed to mark the spot where the Radiant Lotus of the valley’s mythology settled, adorned with the five Dhyani Buddhas and their consorts at its base. Next, visit Boudhanath, a grand stupa surrounded by antique shops offering Buddhist relics. Proceed to Pashupatinath, the holiest Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, situated along the Bagmati River and serving as a sacred cremation site, especially vibrant during the Shivaratri festival. Finally, explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, home to historic sites like Hanuman Dhoka, Mahadev and Parvati Temple, the Temple of the Living Goddess (Kumari), and bustling local bazaars. After a day immersed in history and culture, return to your hotel for the night.
After breakfast we take you to Bhaktapur old durbar square where you will witness unique culture and the finest display of craftsmanship. Bhaktapur is the only place in Nepal which has remained untouched by western culture. Lion Gate, Golden Gate, Art Gallery, Statue of King Bhupatindra, Nyatapola Temple and fifty-five windowed Malla Palace are the living prides of Bhaktapur and you will tour around all these places. Then we will drive you to Patan Durbar Square to explore the area, Mahaboudha Temple, Kumbeshwor temple, Krishna Temple, Golden Temple, you will feel as if Patan has been unveiled before you as an open museum showcasing intricately carved windows, intrinsic roof struts, statues of gods and goddesses, temples designed in pagoda style with erotic carvings and many other exquisite facets. You will also get to see the handicraft centre in Patan. Overnight at hotel.
Drive from Kathmandu to Daman which takes about 3 hours. Daman is situated at a height of 2100 meters or 7500 feet above sea level and a distance of 80 kilometers. Daman is known for its vantage location in viewing the Himalayan peaks such as Mount Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Dorje Lakpa, Gauri Shankar, Cho Oyu etc. There is a view tower from where one can have a panoramic view of 300 miles of the Himalayan range. Early in the morning enjoy the Sunrise over the Himalayan Ranges and view the majestic range of mountain of far-east with the great landscape. Daman is a small village located at the Makawanpur district from 80kms south-west of the capital city Kathmandu. It is 2,322 meters above the sea level and lies on Tribhuwan Highway in between Kathmandu and the town to Birgunj. This place is famous for the panoramic view of the snowy mountains, the major peaks, that can be clearly seen from here are Mt. Everest (8848m), Annapurna III (7555m), Phurbi Chyachu (6637m), Choba Bhamre (6016m), Gaurishankar (7134m) etc. There is a view tower in Daman fitted with a long-range telescope. It is one of the most spectacular mountain-bike routes in the world from Kathmandu. Overnight at Chitwan.
Drive from Daman to Chitwan and it takes about four and half hours. The Chitwan National Park is the lush valley of Chitwan situated in the foothills of Churia ranges which houses the first National Park of the Kingdom. This National Park is famous for its variety of wildlife especially the Great Indian One Horned Rhinoceros and the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. After arrival in Hotel, welcome drinks are served upon check in. Overnight at hotel.
After a quick breakfast, we move for a Canoe ride in the Rapti River, (a good opportunity to see birds and two rare species of crocodiles; Marsh Mugger as well as fish eating Gharial.), then we go for a Jungle Walk and visit the elephant breeding center. In the afternoon after lunch, we will be headed towards the Elephant Safari (an opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, monkey, leopard, sloth bear also you will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home.). In the evening, you could enjoy the sun set view from the bank of Rapti River and culture program during the night time, then you will have dinner. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Pokhara. After you arrive in Pokhara, you can freshen up and do some shopping or relax in the hotel.
After breakfast, the sightseeing starts inside the valley of Pokhara. The sightseeing places are as follows: Old bazzar of Pokhara city, Bindhayabasini temple, Seti Gorge, Buddhist monastery, Pokhara regional museum which displays the traditional things of western Nepal, Devis Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Tibetan refugee camp, Barahi temple which lies in the central part of the Fewa Lake. Today you will wake up early in morning to go to Sarankot which is very famous viewpoint for sunrise and sunset. On the other hand it is popular spot to view the gigantic and snowcapped Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. It is nearly 1 hour drive to go and return. Then, in the afternoon you can visit the Peace Stupa, nearly one and half hour hiking to the top then descend to the Fewa Lake for boating. Overnight at hotel.
Today early in the morning after having your breakfast, you will be transferred to the Pokhara domestic airport. You will prepare for your final departure from Kathmandu. In the afternoon you are free to do some shopping or relax. Overnight at hotel.
This is your departure day. The time to say good bye to Nepal and its beauty. You will be driven to the Tribhuvan International Airport after breakfast in the hotel.
