There are many temples than houses in Kathmandu valley in past. Great temples with heavily carved exteriors, massive white-domed Buddhist stupas and hundreds of smaller Buddhist chaityas small temples with low, ornate archways-and tiny temples containing once lone idol all are an integral pieces of the unique mosaic that is Kathmandu city. To really discover the Kathmandu valley you need to begin exploring from well beyond the city limits, and travel in from the outside of Nepal in order to touch its roots. Fortunately there are many very beautiful walks within the Kathmandu valley that combine cultural experience and natural heritage. Kathmandu city is the capital city of Kingdom of Nepal. In Kathmandu you can visit Machendra Nath Temple, Pasupati Nath temple Akash Bhairabv temple, Katmandu Darbar Square, Kumari Temple, Kasthmandap, Ashok Vinayak, Jaishi Dewal, Tundikhel, Martyr’s memorial. Bhadrakali temple, Singha Darbar, Narayanhiti Darbar, Kaiser Library, Budhanilkantha . Pokhara city: Pokhara valley at an elevation of 900 meter from sea level & 200 Kilometers west of Kathmandu valley, is the second largest valley in Nepal. A scenic mountain side drives approximate 5 hours by privet Land transfer and about 7 hours from local pubic buses or a 35 minutes gratifying flight will get you to Pokhara city. Very famous for lakes Fewa, Rupa and views of the magnificent high Himalayan Peaks, Pokhara valley or city visit for those who would really like to break away as they go boating in the calm and serene waters of the Phewa Lake, or Paragliding, mountain flight or take day trekking/hiking nearby hill Sarankot or other beautiful hills and if time permits short treks into the village of Himalaya in Nepal.

 

Muktinath Darshan: The very famous Muktinath temple is lies in the district of Mustang, Gandaki zone of Nepal and is situated 30 km north east of Jomsom at an altitude of about 3800m.of above sea level. The temple is situated on a high mountain snow line range and is visited during good weather. During the festival of Janai Purnima, Bijaya Dashami Hindu devotees gather here to pay homage to lord Muktinath. The visitors get lodging facilities at Dharmasala and Lodges, hotels in Rani Pouwa. Another famous temple of Jwaladevi, the goddess of flame, is situated about hundred meters south of Muktinath temple.

 

Jomsom is the surroundings supplement with mainly barren ridges, deep canyons, eroded cliffs and Moraine valleys. Its landscape is unrivaled for it has a stupendous wilderness, pristine scenery, snow capped peaks, spectacular 16th century monasteries and many other unique attractions. Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1345m) airport and transfer to hotel.

Upon your arrival to the airport, you will be greeted by the friendly Yala Adventure staff who will escort you to your accommodation in Kathmandu. The views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, beginning a whole chain of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long, long time. After settling in and exploring the streets of Thamel, we will arrange a special welcome diner featuring local specialties to introduce you to the city and the Yala Adventure Team. You will be briefed about your daily activities.Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Sight Sightseeing Dakhinkali Temple.Overnight at hotel.

Today early in the morning, after having your breakfast, then you will drive Kathmandu to Dakshinkali. The Dakshinkali Temple is one of the well-known Hindu enshrinement that is devoted to the Goddess Kali also known as “the black one”. The Dakshinkali Temple can be found 22 kilometers from Kathmandu valley and about a kilometer from the village known as Pharping. While the road to the DakshinKali Temple is in very good condition, it is a steep climb all the way. Anyone planning to get to the DakshinKali Temple will find the incline quite interesting and the fun part will be on the way back. The DakshinKali Temple is about 45 minutes by taxi from Kathmandu although there is the availability of public transport; this is not the best way to get to DakshinKali Temple because this kind of transport is usually quite packed. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Full-day Sightseeing tour around Bhaktapur & Patan

After breakfast we take you to Bhaktapur old durbar squire where you will witness unique culture and finest display of craftsmanship. Bhaktapur is the only place in Nepal which has remained untouched by western culture. Lion Gate, Golden Gate, Art Gallery, Statue of King Bhupatindra, Nyatapola Temple and fifty-five windowed Malla Palace are the living prides of Bhaktapur and you will tour around all these places and drive you to Patan durbar squire to explore Patan Durbar Square, Mahaboudha Temple, Kumbeshwor temple, Krishna Temple, Golden Temple and many other places of Patan, you feel as if Patan has been unveiled before you as an open museum showcasing intricately carved windows, intrinsic roof struts, statues of gods and goddesses, temples designed in pagoda style with erotic carvings and repoussé metalwork facades and many other exquisite facets. You will also get to see handicraft centre in Patan.Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Drive Kathmandu to Chitwan

Today an early in the morning, after having your breakfast, then you will drive to Chitwan and transfer to hotel. Welcome drinks served upon check in at Chitwan hotel. Evening Tharu Cultural Dance show. You will have good dinner and Overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Full- day Sightseeing in Chitwan

Today early in the Morning, after having your breakfast. Canoe ride in the Rapti River, (an good opportunity to see Bird and two rare species of crocodiles; Marsh Mugger as well as fish eating Gharial.) Jungle Walk and visit elephant bathing center. Afternoon: Lunch. Elephant Safari (an opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, monkey, leopard, sloth bear also you will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home.) Evening: Sun set view from the bank of Rapti River, slight show or culture program, then you take a night dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Drive Chitwan to Pokhara

After breakfast, visit to the Government Elephant Breeding Centre or extra jungle activities then drive to Pokhara. After noon around 2 pm you arrive in Pokhara. You can refresh and do some shopping or relax in hotel

 

Day 07: Sightseeing in Pokhara Valley

Today early in the morning , after having your breakfast the sightseeing starts inside the valley of Pokhara. The sightseeing places are as follows: Old bazzar of Pokhara city, Bindhayabasini temple, Seti George, Buddhist monastery, Pokhara regional museum which displays the traditional things of western Nepal, Devis Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Tibetan refusee camp, Barahi temple which lies in the central part of the lake Fewa etc. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Hiking Sarankot, Peace stupa and boating at Fewa Lake

Today you will wake up early in morning to go to Sarankot which is very famous viewpoint for sunrise and sunset. On the other hand it is popular spot to view the gigantic and snowcapped Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. It is nearly 1 hour drive to go and back. Then, in the afternoon visit to Peace Stupa, nearly one and half hour hiking to the top then descend to the lake Fewa for boating.

 

Day 09: Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom and drive to Kagbeni 1:30 hour

You take the early morning flight which again will give close-up views of the Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri and nearby satellites, 25 minutes flight in a small aircraft. From Jomsom you will have pony ride to Kagbeni (2800m), check in Hotel and take a Lunch and do sightseeing around Kagbeni and relax at Teahouse/hotel.

Day 10: Drive Kagbeni to Muktinath 2 hour

We get up early in the morning , after having your breakfast you are heading up to Muktinath by pony ride, you can enjoy beautiful deserted landscape, Caves, old Tibetan Style Villages, apple Garden, Yaks Herds, Sheep Herds and so on. After reaching in Muktinath Teahouse/lodge check you will have lunch and visit pilgrim places Muktinath temple and return to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 11: Drive Muktinath to Jomsom 2:30 hour

Today early in the morning, after having your breakfast, Pony ride begin the descent down the dramatic Kali Gandaki Gorge, initially through arid country in the same geographical and climatic zone as Tibet. After passing through Jharkot and Khingar, villages with typical Tibetan architecture, you follow the valley floor most of the way to Jomsom. Jomsom is sprawled along both banks of the Kali Gandaki and from here there are fine views of the Himalayas. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Fly back Jomsom to Pokhara

Today an early in the morning, after having your breakfast, you will flight back to Pokhara then transfer to hotel, check in hotel. Afternoon you are free in Pokhara do your own activities. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 13: Drive Pokhara to Kathmandu

After breakfast, you will drive back to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu, you can spend the rest of the day for relaxing or shopping

Day 14: Leisure day in Kathmandu

Today you will have a free day in Kathmandu valley. Have some rest in your hotel. You can also take a leisurely stroll over the streets and buy some souvenirs and remembering from Nepal. You will prepare for your final departure flight way at home. At evening we will have a typical Nepali dinner accompanied with cultural shows in hotel

Day 15: Final Departure.

Today you’re all programmed are ending in Nepal, its saying good bye, you will transfer to International airport approximately 3 hour before our scheduled flight a representative from Yala Adventure escorts us to the airport for your final departure flight next destination.
