There is no day to day trekking in this itinerary however there are opportunities for day walks while in Pokhara, Bandipur and Dhulikel. You have the option to join one of our fixed date departures or to have a private tour tailored to dates that suit you.
Arrive in Kathmandu and meet your assistance at the airport. You will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and relaxation.
In the morning, take a walking tour of the old Kathmandu city, following the ancient path across the Vishnumati River to Swayambhunath. In the afternoon, visit the Pashupatinath Temple, the holiest Hindu temple, and Boudhanath, the largest Buddhist Stupa in the world. Overnight at your hotel.
Today, drive south to Dakshinkali. Visit the sacred temple, then continue on to the village of Pharping. Afterward, head to the old Newar villages of Bungmati and Khokana, which are known for their indigenous Newar communities who practice both Buddhism and Hinduism. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Bandipur, a picturesque hilltop town offering incredible views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and Ganesh Himal ranges. Bandipur retains its cultural charm with old houses converted into hotels and minimal concrete structures. The town is peaceful, as vehicles are not allowed in the main square. Drive to Pokhara, a scenic town located 79 km away (approximately 2.5 hours). Upon arrival, enjoy magnificent views of the Himalayas, including Machapuchare and the Annapurnas. In the afternoon, relax at the hotel or explore the town. Overnight at your hotel.
Embark on a day hike to either Begnaskot or Sarangkot village for panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Overnight at your hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Tansen (80 km/4 hours), a quaint hill town located in western Nepal. Overnight at your hotel.
Take a full-day hiking trip to Ranighat, located on the banks of the Kaligandaki River, or enjoy a cultural day tour of Tansen’s colorful bazaars. Overnight at the hotel.
Drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha (105 km/4 hours). Visit the Maya Devi Temple, which marks the site of Buddha’s birth. The Lumbini complex is divided into an eastern zone with Theravadin monasteries and a western zone with Mahayana and Vajrayana monasteries. Later, continue to Royal Chitwan National Park (75 km). Overnight at your hotel.
Spend a full day enjoying jungle activities, including an elephant-back safari, nature walks, canoe rides, bird watching, and a Tharu stick dance. Overnight at your hotel.
Drive back to Kathmandu (145 km), then continue on to Nagarkot (2100 m), located on a ridge with panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Annapurna, Fishtail, Everest, and Kanchenjunga. Overnight at your hotel.
Visit Nagarkot and continue to Changunarayan Temple, which features the finest pagoda architecture in the world. From there, embark on a scenic walk through paddy fields and rural farming villages to Bhaktapur. Later in the afternoon, drive to Dhulikhel. Overnight at your hotel.
Wake up early to enjoy magnificent sunrise views from your hotel. After breakfast, embark on a full-day hike to Namobuddha, carrying lunch boxes with you. Walk through scattered huts and farms to Panauti, an old village full of history. Return to Dhulikhel in time to see a colorful sunset. Overnight at your hotel.
Spend the morning relaxing in Dhulikhel while enjoying the stunning views. In the afternoon, drive back to Kathmandu. On the way, stop at Bhaktapur, an ancient Newar town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site for its rich culture, temples, and architecture. Continue to Kathmandu for an overnight stay.
