Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Paro, visit Paro Dzong and National Museum

Arrive in Paro and be greeted by your guide, who will transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Paro Dzong, an iconic fortress that exemplifies traditional Bhutanese architecture. Afterward, explore the nearby National Museum housed in Ta Dzong, a former watchtower, where you can learn about Bhutan’s rich cultural heritage and history. End your day with a leisurely stroll through Paro town, experiencing its unique charm before resting at your hotel.

Day 2Explore Thimphu, visit Tashichho Dzong, Memorial Chorten

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s bustling capital. Your first stop will be the Tashichho Dzong, a striking fortress that serves as the administrative and religious center of the government. Then, visit the Memorial Chorten, a revered stupa built in honor of the third king of Bhutan. Spend the rest of the day exploring Thimphu’s streets and local cafés, soaking in the city’s peaceful yet vibrant atmosphere.

Day 3Explore Thimphu’s markets and handicrafts, visit Buddha Dordenma

Begin your day with a visit to Thimphu’s bustling markets and handicraft stalls, where you can find beautiful Bhutanese textiles, local art, and souvenirs. In the afternoon, visit the towering Buddha Dordenma statue, one of the largest Buddha statues in the world, offering stunning panoramic views of the Thimphu Valley. Spend the evening enjoying the relaxed pace of the city before returning to your hotel.

Day 4Return to Paro for departure

On your final day, drive back to Paro, taking in the scenic mountain views along the way. Once in Paro, you may have time for some last-minute shopping or a relaxing walk through the town before your departure.
