Continue the ascent through rhododendron forests, crossing the Prek Chu River via wooden bridges. Arrive at Tshoka, a small settlement at 9,700 feet, where you’ll camp overnight. The views of Mount Pandim and surrounding peaks from Tshoka are awe-inspiring and set the tone for the days ahead.

A shorter trek today, leading you to Lamuney at 13,700 feet. This day allows you to conserve energy for the challenging ascent to Goechala. Retrace your steps to Dzongri as you descend through alpine meadows and forested valleys. Although descending, the day is still challenging due to the high altitude and long distance. Arrive at Dzongri for the night, where you can enjoy the familiar but still stunning panoramic views of the mountains.
The descent to Tshoka takes you through lush rhododendron and fir forests once again. As you descend, the air becomes richer with oxygen, making the trek easier and more enjoyable. Arrive in Tshoka by afternoon, where you’ll set up camp for your final night in the high-altitude wilderness.
Complete your trek with the descent to Yuksom, following the same trail through serene forests and rivers. The return journey allows you to reflect on the incredible experiences of the past days. Arrive in Yuksom, marking the end of an unforgettable trekking expedition.
