The Annapurna Circuit via Namun Bhanjyang Trekking is an extraordinary 21-day journey that links the hidden trails of Lamjung and Nar Phu with the classic Annapurna Circuit. Starting from Besishahar, the Annapurna Circuit via Namun Bhanjyang Trekking route passes through untouched villages, alpine lakes, two dramatic high passes – Namun La (4,850m) and Thorong La (5,416m) – and ends in the sacred town of Muktinath. Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1345m/4264ft) airport and transfer to hotel.

Begin your Annapurna trek via Namun La and Thorong La with your arrival in Kathmandu. Meet your guide and enjoy a cultural welcome dinner.

Day 02: Half-day Sightseeing Kathmandu valley and Preparation for the treks. Overnight at hotel.

Visit historic sites while preparing for your Annapurna trek via Namun La and Thorong La. Check gear and permits before departure.

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Besishahar (760m). Overnight at hotel.

Take a scenic 6-hour drive along the Trishuli and Marshyangdi rivers to Besishahar. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Besisahar to Kapur gaun Treks (1,890m/5hrs)

Begin the trek with a gradual ascent through terraced fields and reach the beautiful hill village of Kapur Gaun. Camp overnight.

Day 05: Kapur Gaun to Maidu Kharka Treks (3,100m/5hrs)

Trek past Ghalegaon and Ghan Pokhara before entering rhododendron and oak forests. Camp overnight in Maidu Kharka.

Day 06: Maidu Kharka to Kyuper Kharka Treks (3,645m)

Ascend through forest trails to hilltops with panoramic views, followed by a gentler walk to Kyuper Kharka. Camp overnight

 

 

Day 07: Kyuper Kharka to Taunja Lake Treks (4,220m/6.30hrs)

Hike through alpine meadows and ascend gently to reach Taunja Lake, camping below the pass. Beautiful views of Manaslu and Lamjung Himal.

Day 08: Taunja Lake to Thurchu Lek Treks (4,265m/3hrs)

Climb to Taunja Pass and descend to Thurchu Lake. Spend the afternoon exploring the scenic Dudh Pokhari area. Camp overnight.

Day 09: Thurchu Lake to Danfe Lake Treks (4,515m/5.30hrs)

Ascend to the highest point of the trek—Namun La—and descend via a safe, newly built trail to Danfe Lake. Camp overnight.

Day 10: Danfe Lake to Timang Treks (2,500m/5hrs)

Descend to Timang, where you rejoin the classic Annapurna Circuit trail with stunning views of Manaslu and Himalchuli. Camp overnight.

Day 11: Timang to Chame Treks (2,675m/3hrs)

Continue through pine forests to Chame, the district headquarters of Manang. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Chame to Pisang Treks (3,150m/5hrs)

Trek past apple orchards, forests, and cliffs to reach Pisang with views of Annapurna II and Pisang Peak. Overnight in Pisang.

Day 13: Pisang to Manang Treks (3,440m/5-7 hrs)

Climb past the airstrip at Hongde and visit Braga monastery before reaching Manang, a large cultural village. Overnight in Manang.

 

Day 14: Rest Day for Acclimatization. Overnight at hotel

Rest and acclimatize. Take side hikes to viewpoints above Manang or visit Gangapurna Lake and the Himalayan Rescue Association. Overnight at hotel.

Day 15: Manang to Yak Kharka Treks (4,100m/4 hrs)

Ascend through alpine terrain with grand views of the Annapurna range. Reach Yak Kharka and enjoy a short acclimatization hike. Overnight at lodge.

Day 16: Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi Treks (4420m/ 3hrs)

Follow a high trail before descending and climbing again to Thorong Phedi. Optional acclimatization walk to upper base camp. Overnight at lodge.

Day 17: Thorong Phedi to Muktinath Treks (3,800m) via Thorong- La (5,416m - 9/10hrs)

Start early to cross Thorong La, the famous high pass of the Annapurna Circuit. Descend to the sacred site of Muktinath. Overnight at hotel.

Day 18: Muktinath to Jomsom Treks (2,750m m/6hrs)

Walk down to Jomsom via Eklebhatti and along the windy Kali Gandaki valley. Learn about the Thakali culture. Overnight at hotel.

Day 19: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara (915m) Sightseeing in Pokhara. Overnight at hotel.

Take a short flight to Pokhara. Enjoy a full day sightseeing—Phewa Lake, World Peace Pagoda, mountain museum, and more. Overnight at hotel.

Day 20: Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu (30minutes). Overnight at hotel.

Morning flight to Kathmandu. Enjoy your final day with shopping or exploring. Celebrate with a farewell dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 21: Final Departure.

Transfer to the airport for your international flight, ending your Himalayan adventure with lasting memories.
