In the morning after breakfast, its take about 6hrs drive to Chitwan National Park upon arrival, lunch will be served, rooms assigned and there will be a short briefing about the activities for today and the next days.
Elephant Safari: The most popular is the elephant safari where you can get up close and personal with several animals, while admiring the views of the National Park from the back of an elephant.
Canoe Ride & Jungle Walk: A canoe ride combined with a jungle walk is another option. Our guide takes you down the Rapti River on a canoe and brings you back through the forest.
Jeep Drive: Those that do not fancy either of the above option can opt for a jeep ride. Our jeep will take you around the park and to places most likely to have good sightings of animals.
Village Tour: We also organise a village tour giving you a firsthand taste of the lives of the Tharu people that have lived and preserved the forest for centuries.
Traditional Evening: If that is not enough we also request the Tharus to come and perform their traditional dance for you around a long fire in the evening.
Elephant Breeding Centre: Apart from all this you can visit the elephant breeding centre, home to the homeless and orphan elephants, being taken care of by the forest department. Overnight at hotel.
After the morning jungle activities in Chitwan you will have breakfast then transfer to Lumbini,the birth place of lord Buddha. Lumbin (“the lovely”) is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the Rupandehi district of Nepal. It is large regarded as the place where Queen Mayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama, although the exact birthplace is disputed. Siddhartha Gautama lived roughly between 623 and 543 BCE, and he founded founded Buddhism as Gautama Buddha. Lumbini is one of four magnets for pilgrimage that sprang up in places pivotal to the life of the Buddha, the others being at Kushinagar, Bodh Gaya and Sarnath.Lumbini was where the Buddha lived until the age of 29. Lumbini has a number of temples, including the Mayadevi temple, and others under construction. Also located here is the Puskarini or Holy Pond where the Buddha’s mother took the ritual dip prior to his birth and where he, too, had his first bath, as well as the remains of Kapilvastu palace. Tansen: Drive to Tansen the most popular summer resort with far stretching views of the Himalayas. Tansen is a great rarity a Nepali town big enough to be interesting, yet so far utterly unspoiled. Set at 1400 meters on the southern side of the Mahabharat range in south central Nepal, it’s an ideal hill station, with a marvellously fresh climate. On arrival, we will proceed for lunch before we start our tour. And drive to Pokhara.
This morning we will have sightseeing tour to most of scenic places of the Pokhara valley and on our drive to Nagarkot at 2300m. above sea level. this spot provides an excellent view of the huge Himalayan range, a lovely scenic spot. A spectacular view of the sunset, sunrise and Mount Everest can be seen on a clear day.
After breakfast, drive to Bhaktapur, Patan and Kathmandu for your sightseeing tours. The Kathmandu Valley consists of three main cities of great historic and culture interest: Kathmandu, Lalitpur (Patan) and Bhaktapur. The valley covers an area of 218 sq. miles and is situated 1310m above sea level.
